# Upload Asset

## Request

### Body (multipart/form-data)

This endpoint expects a multipart form containing a file.

- `asset` (file, required) — The file to upload.
- `name` (string, required) — Display name for the asset.

## Response

### 200

Successful Response

- `asset_id` (string, required) — Unique identifier for the asset.
- `name` (string, required) — Display name of the asset.
- `mime_type` (string, required) — MIME type of the uploaded file (e.g. `audio/mpeg`).
- `created_at_unix` (integer, required) — Unix timestamp (seconds) the asset was created.
- `content_url` (string, required, nullable) — Signed URL to fetch the asset's content. May be `null` if the asset has not finished processing. Do not rely on it being valid for more than 1 hour; fetch the asset again for a fresh URL.
