# How many voice slots do I get per tier and how can I increase it?

The number of custom voices you can have saved in [My Voices](https://elevenlabs.io/app/voice-lab) (previously VoiceLab) at any time depends on your plan:

- Free: 3
- Starter: 10
- Creator: 30
- Pro: 160
- Scale: 660
- Business: 660

You can free up voice slots by removing voices from [My Voices](https://elevenlabs.io/app/voice-lab). Find the voice you want to delete in your list of voices, click the **More actions** (three dots) button, then select **Delete voice**.

Deleting a voice cannot be undone, and you will be asked to confirm the deletion.

Default and Legacy voices cannot be deleted, but these voices do not take up your custom voice slots.

Voices saved from the Voice Library do not take up your custom voice slots. If you remove a voice that has been removed from the Voice Library, you will not be able to save it to [My Voices](https://elevenlabs.io/app/voice-lab) again in the future.

If you need more voice slots than are available on your tier, you would need to upgrade your account in order to add more voices.

Adding and editing voices are voice operations.  Each subscription has a monthly quota of voice operations, which resets each billing cycle:

- Free: 55
- Starter: 65
- Creator: 95
- Pro: 290
- Scale: 1040
- Business: 1040
