# What happens to my subscription and quota at the end of the month?

Your [subscription](/guides/help-center-8-account-general-what-is-a-subscription) will automatically renew with each billing cycle, and you will receive new credits. The amount of credits you receive each month depends on your subscription. You can read more about our subscriptions [here](https://elevenlabs.io/pricing).

If you have unused credits from your previous billing cycle, up to twice your usual credit quota will automatically roll over into your new credit quota, provided you remain on the same subscription plan.

For example, if you're on the Starter plan and you had 60,000 unused credits from your previous credit quota, your new credit quota would be 90,000 credits: 60,000 credits rolled over from your previous billing cycle plus 30,000 new credit quota.

If you upgrade your subscription in the middle of an ongoing cycle, any remaining unused credits will be added to your new credit quota, and your billing cycle will reset.

If you downgrade or cancel your subscription, this does not take effect until the end of your current billing cycle, and you will lose any unused credits when this happens.

Pay As You Go credits are not affected by monthly credit rollover, and will expire 12 months after
purchase. However, if you change subscription plans, your PAYG credit balance may be adjusted
