# How to make the voice laugh?

With Eleven v4 and Eleven v3, you can use [audio tags](/guides/help-center-8-product-core-capabilities-text-to-speech-how-do-audio-tags-work-with-eleven-v3-and-v4) such as `[laughs]` to add laughter and other reactions to generated speech.
