# How are payouts calculated?

**Direct Sales**

For direct purchases, ElevenReader Publishing pays authors **60% of the revenue collected**, after deducting store fees, in accordance with our standard publishing agreement.

- Apple App Store and Google Play Store fees are typically **30%** of the in-app purchase price
- Web purchases are subject to an approximately **3% Stripe processing fee**
- Tax withholdings may apply depending on your country of residence

**Subscription Listening**

For books included in the Ultra subscription, authors earn **$0.20 per hour of verified listening streamed, with a cap of $2.50 per book**.
