# Which file formats can I import with Studio?

EPUB is the best file format to use to create your project. If the EPUB is well-structured and correctly formatted, it will automatically split each chapter into its own chapter in Studio, making it very easy to navigate.

To format your EPUB so that Studio can recognize your chapters, you need to make sure that each chapter heading is formatted as 'Heading 1'.

Other supported file formats are:

- PDF
- DOCX
- TXT
- HTML
- URL
