# How many Professional Voice Clones (PVCs) can I have?

Professional Voice Clone (PVC) slots vary by subscription tier:

**Base PVC Slots**

- Free and Starter plan: No PVC slots available
- Creator, Pro, and legacy Scale plan: 1 PVC slot
- Scale and legacy Business plan: 3 PVC slots
- Business plan: 10 PVC slots
- Enterprise plan: Custom number of PVC slots

**Additional PVC Slots**

You can earn additional PVC slots when a Professional Voice Clone you have shared with the [Voice Library](https://elevenlabs.io/app/voice-library) is marked as Studio Quality.

- Studio Quality review only applies to voices you have shared with the Voice Library
- After your voice is accepted into the Voice Library, Studio Quality review happens automatically. It is not immediate
- If your shared PVC is marked as Studio Quality, you automatically receive an additional PVC slot
- This can happen multiple times if multiple shared voices are marked as Studio Quality
- You cannot create more PVCs unless you either:
  - Earn extra slots through Studio Quality review of voices shared with the Voice Library
  - Upgrade to Scale or above

**Important Notes**

- Professional Voice Clones can only be used to clone your own voice
- If you downgrade below the Creator tier, your PVC will remain on your account, but you won't be able to use it until you upgrade to Creator or above
- The total number of custom voices you can have (including PVCs) depends on your subscription tier
