# How much does Voice Design cost?

Voice Design only consumes credits when you generate voices.

Each time you click **Generate voice**, we create three voice options based on your prompt. You're charged based on the number of characters in your preview text.

You can enter your own preview text or use the **Auto-generate** button to create one automatically. Auto-generated previews include relevant audio tags.
