Plans and pricing
Reception.ai offers four tiers. All new accounts start with a free trial and can upgrade at any time.

Free trial
Section titled “Free trial”Every new account starts with a 14-day free trial that includes:
- 30 credits (up to 30 phone minutes or 60 web chat minutes)
- A dedicated phone number
- Full access to all features (including advanced integrations)
- No credit card required
After 14 days, upgrade to a paid plan to continue.
How credits work
Section titled “How credits work”Each plan includes a monthly credit pool. Different activities consume credits at different rates:

Overage
Section titled “Overage”On paid plans, usage beyond your included credits is billed at your plan's overage rate:
- Basic: $0.45 per credit
- Plus: $0.38 per credit
- Premium: $0.30 per credit
Upgrading
Section titled “Upgrading”- Go to Settings → Billing (or click Upgrade in the sidebar)
- Choose your plan
- Complete payment via Stripe
- Your plan activates immediately
Downgrading
Section titled “Downgrading”When you downgrade to a lower tier:
- Changes take effect at the end of your current billing period
- Resources beyond the new plan's limits are deactivated (extra phone numbers, receptionists, locations)
- You can cancel a pending downgrade before it takes effect
Cancellation
Section titled “Cancellation”If you cancel your subscription:
- Service continues until the end of your billing period
- Your phone number is released after a 14-day grace period
- Data is retained in case you resubscribe
